Specialist Equipment
Where science meets hands-on care
At Bridge4 Rehab, we combine expert clinical knowledge with advanced rehab technology, all tailored to your individual goals. Here’s how our specialist therapies help restore movement, build confidence, and support long-term progress:
Hands-On Physiotherapy
A therapist’s hands do more than guide, they listen, too. Our team uses hands-on techniques like, Bobath facilitation, Myofascial release, Muscle energy techniques, and Repetitive movement pattern training
These methods aim to restore efficient, balanced movement, reducing postural imbalances and easing compensations that make everyday movement harder than it needs to be.
Bodyweight-Supported Treadmill Training
We’re proud to offer a ‘Gold Standard’ BWS system, a game-changer in Neurological Rehabilitation. It reduces the load on your body, helping you:
- Walk and balance safely
- Reduce fear of falling
- Practice for longer with less fatigue
- Re-train gait more effectively, either over ground or on a treadmill
Perfect for rebuilding confidence and stamina, step by step.
Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES)
Whether you’re living with paralysis, weakness, or spasticity, FES helps activate and retrain your muscles. At Bridge4, we use FES both:
- On its own, for targeted muscle stimulation, and
- In FES Cycling with our MotoMed system, combining electrical input with guided movement
Benefits include improved circulation, muscle strength, spasm relief, and better tissue health.
Biofeedback Technology (Pressure + EMG)
We use powerful feedback systems to give you, and us, live insight into how your body’s really working.
Pressure Air Biofeedback (Togu PAB Pro)
Specialised cushions and sensors track your body pressure in real-time, teaching you to:
- Improve balance control
- Centre your weight more evenly
- Strengthen specific movements, like grip or stance
EMG (Electromyography) Feedback
This tech measures invisible muscle activity, even when there’s no visible movement. You’ll see it on-screen, helping you learn to activate weak muscles and track progress during tailored exercise programmes.
